Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups almond flour or meal
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 ounce dark chocolate, finely grated
  • 2 strips of extra crispy bacon, broken into bits
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 3 tbsp honey

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Grate chocolate over the dry mixture, add chocolate chips, and set aside.
  3. Melt the coconut oil in the microwave (30 to 45 seconds), add the honey, and mix well.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients. 
  5. Drop spoonfuls on a cookie sheet and bake for 11 minutes.





Makes 24 cookies, 105 calories each
(Fat:  8 g, Carb 7 g, Protein 2 g)
